Introduction Henan Xinhuan Treatment Materials Co., Ltd. is located in Gongyi City, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. A total of 236 employees, the main production of inorganic flocculant series, organic flocculant series of two series of products. The company mainly produces two series of inorganic flocculant series and organic flocculant series, namely, 80,000 tons/year of industrial-grade polyaluminum chloride/alkaline aluminum chloride, 50,000 tons/year of drinking water-grade polyaluminum chloride, 50,000 tons/year of spray-type polymeric sulfuric acid, and 30,000 tons/year of polypropylene cool amine.

Polymerized Aluminum Chloride (Polyaluminium Chloride, abbreviated as PAC) is a kind of inorganic polymer coagulant with various properties, such as adsorption, coagulation and precipitation. It is composed of aluminum and chloride ions, with rapid precipitation and flocculation. Polymeric aluminum chloride is widely used in the field of water treatment, mainly used in drinking water treatment, industrial wastewater treatment, papermaking, printing and dyeing, textile, medicine and food industry.

The structure of polymeric aluminum chloride is between AlCl3 and Al(OH)3, which is a kind of water-soluble inorganic polymer, and the chemical formula is [Al2(OH)nCl6-n]m, where m represents the degree of polymerization, and n denotes the degree of neutrality of PAC products. Its color is usually white, yellow or brown, different colors of polymeric aluminum chloride in the application and production technology is also a big difference.

Polymerized aluminum chloride has strong bridging adsorption performance, in the process of hydrolysis, accompanied by the occurrence of coagulation, adsorption and precipitation and other physicochemical processes. Its flocculation and precipitation speed is fast, applicable pH range is wide, no corrosive to pipeline equipment, and can effectively remove color, COD, BOD and arsenic, mercury and other heavy metal ions in water.

The production process of polymerized aluminum chloride includes drum drying, plate and frame press filtration and spray drying, etc. Among them, spray dried products are widely used in drinking water treatment because of their high safety. Polymerized aluminum chloride has low dosage, low cost, high activity, convenient operation, wide adaptability and low corrosiveness.
